To add pictures to a gallery, first create a new gallery. Then upload new pictures, or edit existing pictures, and you will have the option to tag the new gallery in each picture.
When the gallery is displayed, it will show all pictures that are tagged with the corresponding gallery.
To select the gallery cover picture, make sure that you have already added pictures to the gallery. Then edit the gallery and you will have the option to select any of the tagged pictures as the gallery cover picture.
To make pictures appear on your sled profile, you must tag the sled in one or more pictures. First create your sled profile. Next, upload new pictures or edit existing pictures and the option to tag your sled will be available. All pictures that your sled is tagged in will appear on your sled profile.
To select your primary sled profile picture, go back and edit your sled profile, and you will be able to select any of the tagged pictures as your primary picture. Just make sure that the sled is tagged in at least one picture.
When you are viewing a user's profile page, the upper left box will display some information about the user, and you can click the send private message icon that appears in this box.
Also, when you are viewing a piece of content, there is an author information box on the right hand side of the screen. The send private message icon appears here as well.
You can also click "Messages" on the navigation menu, then click the "write new message" tab and you can enter the user name of the person you would like to send the message to.
When you are viewing a user's profile page, the upper left box will display some information about the user, and you can click the add friend icon that appears in this box.
Also, when you are viewing a piece of content, there is an author information box on the right hand side of the screen. The add friend icon appears here as well.
Profile pictures are handled differently than other images on this site. To add a profile picture, click "My account" on the navigation menu, then click the "edit" tab, then scroll down to the picture section to upload your picture.
